Our Blog is more than just weddings & events we discuss relationships issues as well as everyday lifestyle occurrences. This topic is something I struggled with & with careful consideration I felt it was important to share on my Blog. Our ultimate goal is not only to share the happy occasions, but also offer you thought provoking topics to make you take a step back & "THINK".


Depending on what state you live in I think its fair to say many individuals & families may be encountering difficulties on ALL levels. It seems at least here in California for the past two weeks many tragic Breaking News has come across the screen. I tend to stay abreast to what's happening in my community & at times may address it in someway.



On occasion I have seen status updates on Facebook by acquaintances mentioning the recent suicides in the news. Over the past several weeks it has been discussed with teens in the news not only referencing  suicide, but guns in our schools. It breaks my heart that some people are so careless with what their posting and providing what they think is valued information on the topic. In reviewing the comments I just couldn't believe what certain individuals were saying. I believe in freedom of speech, however speaking without having professional knowledge of the exact situation is just dis-respectful to those they left behind. You absolutely have no idea what goes on behind close doors in someones life. To say what could the kids today possibly be going through, that is so different when we were their age?

What happened in your household may be completely different in another household. What happened when you went to school, may be completely different for a child today. You cannot assume that a child took its own life because they were soft & didn't have faith or support in their life. (Quoted from a comment on Facebook).  Do you know if they battled depression, or something deeper? Do you know if they were seeking professional advice. You can't have it both ways that if teens aren't talking with their parents isn't it better that they seek professional advice from a Therapist?

I speak on this from personal experience loosing a love one & you have no idea what one goes through when they are face with trails & tribulations of life that are beyond their control. It's hard enough that someone has taken their life, but it doesn't stop there. The pain continues on for those they left behind. Before you start to judge an individuals personal situation look in the mirror at yourself. Are you perfect? How you deal with things are not the same as another child of God. Yes, we are all children of GOD, it is not up to you to be the judge & juror. And, if you truly had any compassion the first thing you would have done was say a prayer for that individual & their family who are mourning the death of their child.


Growing-up there was a quote I heard all the time: Stick & Stones may brake my bones, but words will never hurt me-Author Unknown

That quote is so far from the truth...Words do hurt and they can carve an impression in ones heart & head that can scar them for life. Often times society loves to see someone fall more than to rise in Greatness. If we actually listen more & stop judging; you will not only learn more about yourself, but others as well. Leave the diagnosis to the professionals.

This Year we're going back to the BASICS
for Bringing in the New Year

Can you believe the year is almost over? It seems that the older I get the turning of the clock comes faster, Is it just me who thinks that? So many wonderful things happen this year that I'm pleasantly pleased with, however I did learn a few life lessons along the way.  The most important part is when you encounter circumstances that may not go as plan do you buckle under the pressure or do you pick your head-up and move forward even better & stronger?  I take a hard look at the situation & re-evaluate the steps that brought me there. Did I see signs along the way & completely ignore my navigation?  The New Year is about making changes re-evaluating absolutely everything in your life and making a new. If something isn't working then take steps to change it so you'll live a more fulfilling life.

I thought I was done with  my personal goals for "2011", but just added one additional item to the list. If you have written down resolutions for "2011" & come January 20th something else comes-up; add it to your list-Do not ignore. You may not complete everything, but visit your life actions daily, so the more you dedicate time & effort to the better results you'll have. It's all a process & as long as you are working towards the process eventually you'll see "RESULTS".

I  try to always  provide positive words of wisdom to my friends, clients & associates which we call drezrehersal Tips... I am a person who believes in saying it like it is and not sugar coating it. One thing my friends appreciate from me & know if they want it real ASK KIMBERLY.  Why would you even want someone to tell you what you want to hear verses what is the right thing you should  hear? It's key to be in-tune with yourself  so you recognize certain situations along your journey in life.

drezrehersal Tip... Recognize reading people's subliminal motives and assess who is a true ally and who to avoid at all costs ;personal or business.

Time to say Goodbye to "2010" & Welcome in "2011" Looking forward to a fantastic year of fulfilling my dreams, new opportunities & new relationships all while Living, Loving & Laughing through this journey we call Life. We only have one so why not make the best of it.

GLAM'ONDAY ALERT... CASTING~TAKING YOUR POWER BACK!~SEQUEL

Less than a week left until its "2011"  What are you changing if anything at all? Change is good and there's no time like the present to make re-writes in your life. Why do I say re-writes? Well life is much like a movie, a true story which you are the lead cast member. Every movie has a storyline sometimes its a feel good , action, love story, drama & even a thriller. First step to a movie is the writer. There must be a writer to get the storyline going. Once the script is complete you need to pitch it to the studios, then start the casting process that also includes who the director & producer will be. Does any of this sound familiar yet? Let no one write your movie but you, it's your life & your journey. Should you decide you want a feel good movie with a love story ending or do you prefer lots of drama that can ultimately be a thriller in the end? Create a vision board & set goals for where you like your life to be. Start small & do 2-3 yrs out and once you get the hang of it re-write do long term 5-7 yrs. If you can see it daily you'll be able to envision the storyline even more.

Who's the Director of Your Life?

Recently I watched the WIZ for the umpteenth time. One of my childhood favorite movies, which brings back feel good feelings, since my Nana took me to see it when I was about 10 or 11 yrs old. The first time seeing it I didn't quite understand it completely, but loved the music & storyline & hearing Diane Ross singing When I Think of Home. I get chills every time I hear that song very powerful. If you really listen to the words it says a lot. The older I got the more & more that song meant to me. That you could achieve & be anything in life if only you Believe. The WIZ is a perfect movie if you are trying to Take Your Power Back. Cast: Dorothy-Wanted to get Back Home ;Scarecrow- Wanted a Brain; Tin Man- Wanted a Heart; The Lion- Wanted Courage. Long story short in the end they had everything they needed all along, but just took sometime to BELIEVE.

So let's review: The Writer: (You) Producer: (You setting goals)  Director: Following God's footsteps & not mans footsteps and Cast: Surrounding yourself with like minded individuals who are on the same path as you. There's an old saying my mother use to tell me. You are the company you keep. If you want better you must allow yourself to be better. It's OK if something isn't working, just know when its time to move on & end the sequel. Create a movie of substance that you can be proud of & want to re-wind ,play all the time. Those are the movies to be cherished that you can always pull out watch over & over. Just as I do with the WIZ- I learn something new each & every time I watch it.

With the New Year quickly approaching it's not only a time of celebration, but also reflection. Reflecting on what's working & what isn't working in you or around you. I had a conversation with a good friend recently on "Taking Her Power Back".  An Aha Moment shared between two friends the power you recognize in yourself, however have a momentary set back to please someone other than you. I often share with my clients, friends & associates; If you're no good to yourself, how can you be good for someone else.

GLAM'ONDAY ALERT... means more to us than just beauty & fashion. GLAM'ONDAY is about sharing, connecting with ones true self to make them a better person in life. That inner beauty that shines beyond you & brings out your best qualities, which in turn radiates to others.

I'M TAKING MY POWER BACK...




"POWER" is Glamorous-not a controlling power where one runs the opposite direction of you because they see you coming. To be a strong self-sufficient individual where you're completely in control of your life & lead by your example & not what you think others expect or want from/out of you. If you have lost yourself in some way "NOW" is the time to take your "POWER" back and let your true self shine through. You are a priceless jewel that exceeds ever definition of Glam. In order to achieve this surround yourself with like minded individuals who are on the same path as you. It shows on your face the natural radiance you desire to have with a life of peace & happiness has been kidnapped. A Fabulous Life of pure happiness is out there for you to enjoy, so grab hold of it and don't look back.

A Mini Love Story on Finding & Loosing Love
Read BITTER to BETTER PART I

You arrived & showed up ready to go with your sweet nothings & overzealous ways to impress & court me 100%. The journey of us wanting to know one another more is amazingly blissful, my heart can barely contain the steady beats, but my head is saying GIRL please this isn't a fairy tale this is reality & you better get real & recognize the storm is coming. You take a moment & evaluate the situation as if its a business plan, but should be more like a partnership out-weighing the pros & cons. Before you know it a revelation has presented itself! This could be the best relationship you have ever encountered, just what LOVE should be. You start to understand the only storm that is coming is your past meets present. You're bringing past hurts into your present & turning something GREAT into "BITTERNESS"  from the past. Just because you were disappointed in the past doesn't mean its your present.

One thing women need to learn is how to release past hurts. What you're holding on too as luggage can jeopardize your future. Life is about many lessons- you either get it or you continue to go through life with a knife in your heart that you just can't seem to pull out. So as you try & move on to the next relationship you wonder why your heart still hearts.

What needs to be the Life Lesson is God has a "BETTER" plan for you. Yes, that old saying you need to kiss a few frogs to receive your prince. It goes both both ways- its called dating for a reason. Don't get wrapped-up & all involved in the dating process & mistake he/she for Is This The One? Before you can be 100% with your future prince you must be one with yourself. Love You~Learn You~Be You before you can be a friend, girlfriend, wife to your prince. He's out there & waiting for you, however your time-line & plan is not what matters. Once God is complete with you , he will openly send you your destine mate because you are now open to receive & be a "Better" you.

Align your gifts, talents & know you deserve "Better".  It's God's priority for you to have a mate that will honor you & cherish you as the Queen you are. From this day forward step out of "Bitter" & move towards to "Better". Leave your past hurts in the past so you're able to openly receive your "Better". Relationships take work, however know when Bitter should be Better & if you aren't receiving respect than its time to pack your bags, honor yourself and move on to the present, as there's a "Better" prince in your future.

drezrehersal Tip... Act in Faith & not Fear, that its God's plan for you to recognize Better want Better because you deserve "BETTER".
