Take Six with Grammy Producer "Earl Powell"

Take Six Q & A of six personal questions with celebrities in the Fashion, Beauty, and Entertainment industry who are dancing to the tune of their own beat while staying true to self.

Take Six with Grammy Producer "Earl Powell"

Take 6ix Q1. Grammy Award Producer Earl Powell AKA "Trillionaire Earl" before I truly dive in what does the word "Trillionaire" represent for your brand at Eptone Productions/Roksta Music

A. Trillionaire means going beyond what the naysayers think isn't possible. Trillionaire represents GREATNESS!

Take 6ix reply: Gifted answer and why I must now give you a Hi-Five and "Congratulations" on the single “Woman to Woman” you produced for Keyshia Cole. I know you're excited that “Woman to Woman” could be the next release on the album.  In addition Keyshia selecting the song as the cover title for her November 2012 album release. Take 6ix readers you have an opportunity to listen to the song in addition to place your vote for "Woman to Woman" to be the next single release from Keyshia Cole album.

Behind the scenes peek to Keyshia Cole previewing track
 “Woman to Woman”
Co-Produced & Co-Written by Earl Powell

Take 6ix Q2. As a music producer your energy and spirit is extremely soothing. How does that humbleness translate when creating with an artist who requires a push?
A. As a creative talent I'm very aggressive yet passionate when working with artist's. The one thing that's understood while working is: I /We want the best possible recording.

Take 6ix Q3. Keyshia Cole quoted to Essence Magazine in a past issue "Sometimes other people feel like they know what's best for you. But I know where I want to be… I work so hard to represent myself well; for me to let anyone else drive my vehicle beside God, it's like, no." (ESSENCE, October 2007). I respect her forwardness, determination, and her passion to be the leading force to her vehicle of success. Having that spirit has definitely place Mrs. Cole-Gibson in the right VIP spot. Please share some words of wisdom for an artist, musician, or producer who is struggling to get that one shot?
A. In this business, it's a marathon not a sprint. You have to allow yourself enough time to saturate your market place. Getting to know the right people and being prepared at all times. When working with artist from a producer's point of view, you should never try and change an artist when they have a direction that's working. You should embrace that and build on it.

Take 6ix Q4. Earl, you have also been blessed to work with the amazingly talented actress, singer, mother, and philanthropist "Jennifer Hudson" I believe this is what set-up your Grammy Award status. Please share your part in this life changing accomplishment to your craft and how adding Grammy Award Producer can push open doors beyond your wildest dreams.

A. Working with Jennifer was a Blessing! We started working after "American Idol", and she's the best in and out the studio. The song we did is called "Stand Up" at the time we had over a Million hits on Myspace. In the music industry that's a big deal. The Grammy status is a great blessing especially in this case. History was made, first African American "FEMALE" to win a "Oscar" and a “Grammy" the first time out the gate. No one has ever done that! So I humbly embrace the historical part of that, as opposed to my own satisfaction.

Take 6ix Q5. Share six artists you've enjoyed creating magical music for and one word that exemplifies who they are?
A. Jennifer Hudson, KeyshiaCole, LaTocha Scott, (Xscape), Felony (Public Announcement), and Slique. These artists have a “Unique” Vibe that make you want to produce.
Take 6ix Q6. The music industry doesn't always shine a bright light on some artists. Would you agree that what you see isn't always what you get... As a well diverse R & B producer who's light is centered on God first, what is your recommendation for an upcoming artist to have that triple threat presence while maintaining longevity in this industry without selling your soul?

A. First off, thanks for asking that question. I believe in order to maintain who you are in this business, you Must have "JESUS" What profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul? I think you'll find that most people in this business started out in the "Church". Staying grounded and not letting the hype and the illusion of the business will keep you from selling out. Although I love nice things, that's not the reason I got into this game. I do this for the love, I just want to continuing fulfilling and embracing my God giving gift while reaching his promise of Greatness.

Take 6ix. Earl you are absolutely a humble individual with a fire that ignites magical words that touches your inner soul. To know you is a blessing and I wish you continued success as you move forward in the industry. As you say the "foundation of this industry is to stay grounded for than the blessings will be bestowed upon you." We look forward to more Grammy Award music and hopefully hearing Eptone Productions/Roksta Music work on the big screen.

Take Six with Impact Radio Host "On the Go with Tiffany Patton"

Take 6ix Ques #1. As one of the host for Impact Radio what would you like our readers to take away from listening to the show On the Go with Tiffany?

OTGWT Answer: That God desires for us to live a life of balance, desiring one to be whole in every area of your life. Most importantly he desires for you to be uniquely you for his love is unconditionally. He is not like man and doesn't  love you based on conditions, his love is unconditional. God doesn't want us to look at the outward appearance, however focusing on our inner spirit.  God is not into religion, but is "Big" on relationships and having an opened one with you, welcoming you just as you are.

Take 6ix Ques #2. If God spoke to in a dream and said "Tiffany I'll grant you any blessing you like." What would you ask for?

OTGWT Answer: "Supernatural Wisdom."  Many times when I look back over my life experiencing adversity, trials or tribulation, it was truly based on me not having the proper wisdom concerning that situation.  Wisdom provides you the counsel to be the BEST in every possible situation while enhancing your ability to make sound decisions in your day to day life causing it to trump emotions and feelings. Supernatural Wisdom gives me "Godly Wisdom" concerning all situations and  guides me on making decisions not only for myself, but others as well.

Take 6ix Ques #3. Name six of  your favorite interviews that you had the pleasure of showcasing on your show and provide one word that exemplifies each guest interviewed.

OTGWT Answer

1. Musiq Soulchild "Love

2. Dr. Maya Angelou "Profound"
3. Lamman Rucker  "Charismatic"
4. Jonathan Butler "Humble"
5. Earnest Pugh "Worship"
6. Lisa McClendon "
Infallible"

Take 6ix Ques #4. Tiffany, as a female host in a male dominated industry could you provide a Golden Nugget of Inspiration to our readers and any young lady who is seeking to tap into the entertainment industry?

OTGWT Answer: Be true to who you are and who God has created you to be.  "Your" unique divine gift shall make room for you.

Take 6ix Ques #5. As Twenty-Twelve comes to end what were two highlight's from the show that left a lasting impression on you?

OTGWT Answer: There were several highlights that planted a seed of impression on me, while I definitely  can provide two; three is a charm.

(1) Dr. Maya Angelou, stated in our interview how powerful we are as individuals.  If we would only tap in and be conscious of it (paraphrasing). By sowing love and kindness as simple as smiling at someone  walking down the street can totally change the course and direction in someones day. (2)
The Quincy Jones of Gospel, Ben Tankard's  lasting impression is  there's no limit as to where you can go in life. Embrace your calling, while simply  changing your way of thinking. Ben states "you don't know how much you're not doing until you meet someone who is really doing" "what goes from the heart goes to the heart." and (3) Radio Personality, Frankie Darcell mentions sometimes we may have plans and visions for our life and press with such intensity towards how "we" think our lives should go. So much so that we don't stop long enough to see if our way or will is God's will for our lives.  Sometimes God will allow a thing to occur (so intense that it is intended to gain your attention) something that the enemy meant for your demise however, God allowing it for your direction to be changed from your will to his will. In the long run...The very BEST plan for your life.

Take 6ix Ques 6: To truly get to know someone its important you ask the right questions and seeing that I know you fairly well, but our readers don't lets give them an inside scoop to what's next for Tiffany on the Go?

OTGWT Answer: In the New Year, I have plans to literally take my show on the Go, occasionally stepping out of the studio and producing more intense thought provoking shows. Being one of the voices for Impact Radio provides me the platform to utilize my voice in a greater way.  Invoking change by sharing stories of inspiration, grace, and  whispers from God that  not only make an impact on our listeners, but allows him  to remove the  limits off  ourselves while freely moving us from a place of complacency to a place of purpose in life. "Giving Back"  Giving back weighs heavy on my heart  and one of  my mission's for Twenty-Thirteen. Operating and being more involved in Philanthropic Causes to increase awareness and change that its not always about you, but helping others in the process of this thing we call life. And lastly, but certainly not least putting the finally touches on my book while pursing my mission in ministry and theater plays.

Take 6ix: That's a tall list of goals. I know with your determination, dedication to your work and Gods divine guidance. I see blessings in store for you personally and your show Tiffany On the Go. I guess that's  why the industry affectionately calls you Media Maven. We thank you for this exclusive Take Six interview, we'll be closely watching as you continue to make an inspiration impact.

ASK KIMBERLY...Loving Two Whats a Girl to Do?

Q: Dear Kimberly
I'm a single woman currently dating two men, which I'm enjoying the company of both. Is it possible to be in love with two people at the same time?

Anomalously Dating Plus 1

A: That's a great question to ask, I'm sure you feel tide between the two of them. While you may have feelings for both of the men, that's  a very strong statement to make that you think you love them both. What you're feeling may be a combination of attraction mixed with confusion because you aren't allowing yourself to be connected to just one. Trying to balance two relationships at the same time ones emotions can easily get misconstrued for something stronger, and in the end not a fair trade to yourself or the gentlemen.  I recommend taking an assessment of your real feelings by writing  five reasons for each on why you love them. I want you to truly take sometime to come up with five answers of substance verses surface. I.e: Martin is attractive. (That's a surface answer, not substance). Get down to the core of character qualities. Upon completion, please follow these 3 Steps  (1) Read once. (2) After reading place aside for three or more days, but no longer than five.  (3)  On day three re-visit your answers. I guarantee you once you place your thoughts on paper  things will become crystal clear.

Many think love is a feeling, however its an action that requires the 3C's: Character, Communication, and  Commitment. The 3C's require participation by two and UN-balanced if only one is contributing.  Try to get pass what you're feeling, because  that is clouding your judgment. Things that make us feel good aren't necessarily good for us, take the emotions out of it so you understand what the true feelings are for both gentlemen. After all is said and done and you still have strong feelings for both, the next step is be honest with both men, as  they should have the option to decide if they want to continue dating you as well. Many are confused by the word dating; the definition has  different meaning for many. Keep in mind both guys may very well know that you're seeing them both, but on the other hand they may not. These goes back to the 3C's "Character" is important in a relationship, if you have none, you can't expect to receive it in return.
