drezrehersal Tip… A stunning way to add an identity to your ceremony & reception décor is to look at it as if it was your home. When planning for your wedding, think beyond the usual décor of floral centerpieces. Bring in added touches that will represent an experience & relaxing lifestyle for you & your guests.



Tip #2  Fresh florals are important for your wedding, but not necessary to place on every reception table. A stunning décor look is alternating centerpieces on reception tables. Have your florist place arrangements in other items besides glass vases. If you prefer vases, switch up sizes and styles, using translucent colors. Look into adding a colored floral piece around the vase, creating a completely different centerpiece. Other options are boxes. Small to large jewelry cases also work well. Lastly, a few battery-operated lamps placed on the table with fresh floral décor wrapped around the neck or the base of the lamp is floral fabulous at its best.

My lifestyle is running around town with passion & love on a daily basis whether it's handling event business for my clients are just doing the normal day-day errands for myself, which consist of shopping, working out or just hanging with my girls. It's all relevant to my lifestyle. A Day in the Life of an Event Planner

The shoes are FANTASTIC!!! Honestly, not just because I received the New Balance shoes complimentary, but as a Style Glamnista they are more than just for working out. The shoes are stylish and absolutely light weight. I have never EVER purchase a pair of sports shoes, that I would want to wear everyday like these. Anyone & everyone who knows me, knows I'm always in heels. The candy coated aqua color vibrant and there wasn't one place I visited where at least two people ask me who shoes are those there beautiful.

My career, which I call a PARTY requires a lot of walking , moving around, up-down designing, styling, running from one location to another (Literally at times). These are definitely becoming part of my team dress attire prior to the event. As I visited clients, vendors throughout several days it really felt as if I had no shoes on. Typically I wear flip flops while driving, because other sports shoes I worn were so heavy and if you know anything about Los Angeles traffic; you are frequently making; stop-go-stops. By the end of the day your calves & ankles are killing you just by lifting your heel up to brake often. I also hate seeing women with scuffed up shoes, so I protect mine by wearing flips flops and then changing when at destination. "Just Me".

Taking time out the day to workout. A MUST!

I usually have two workouts for the day one in the morning another in the evening, consisting of cardio, running along with yoga , sexy Pilate's & pole dancing (my new workout of choice). Running in the shoes was like running on air free flowing tranquility. I often hate running as I could never find a sports shoe that didn't feel like I was always wearing weights. I'm enjoying running more now due to the TrueBalance Toning Collection. When I go to my Pole Dancing class which requires no shoes , you required to place your shoes & personal belongings in this little cubicle. I'm like Awe I want to wear my shoes in the class. All the Ladies are eying them; Those are so cute where did you get them? In my humorous voice I say "OK when I take my shoes off & place them in the cubicle if there gone I know you have them". LOL. I'm 5'6 & I noticed when wearing the shoes my balance is more steady , body feels leaner. I really noticed after viewing the photos I looked much taller. Bonus points. It really does give you structure in just a few days. Mind Over Matter?- I don't think so something magical has definitely happen by trying out the New Balance Toning Collection and I LOVE IT...

I  visited one of my clients and she ask me; so where's my shoes? We laughed, then decided they would be a great bridesmaids gift as my client is a avid softball player ,her girls would never expect a gift such as this,however would really, really appreciate. You'll notice one of the photos has a beautiful bouquet , which we're always thinking out the box and it works perfectly for a centerpiece for clients who are sports fans. Not so much for a wedding, but a Bridal Shower or Engagement Party. It's all in the presentation. It ties in something about the couple and makes the event an experience, which we strive for. The New Balance shoes were just that, a beautiful experience that has change my daily lifestyle in addition to my body to be a better me for my clients myself and my team.

Not just any letter a Birthday letter; the letter was written as a symbolic Birthday gift to share my experiences on my  journey to "GREATNESS". For 22 days of September I provided 22 Steps to a "Better Me". 22 days were chosen because it's the day of my "BIRTHDAY". Yes today is the day...so each day I provided tips to a "Better Me" which you will see below.  If one of my tips can help another, than

22 Reasons to a "Better Me"

1. When you finally arrive to be completely comfortable in your own skin. Ultimately
a refreshing feeling.

2. Loving Life, Loving Me, In Love with Work. The secret recipe is having a “PASSION” for all three.

3. That inner voice we hear. Its called “Intuition”~”Believe It” and “Listen to It”.

4. Once you become in-tune w/ yourself- your life direction will become clearer to finding lasting happiness & fulfillment.

5. On your journey to GREATNESS, remember to be a blessing to someone else that may be striving for where you are now.

6. In order to move forward, sometimes you must leave a few behind.

7. Dreaming is like flower, in order for the flower to grow you must water it, talk to it and give it attention. The analogy is: Nurture the flower~ Nurture your DREAM.

8. Obstacles are only Hiccups. Take a sip of "FAITH" and say this too shall pass and move on.

9. Know your "WORTH"only you can put a determination on what's real & what's counterfeit. Everything that glitters isn't always gold.

10. "Fear" is ~NEVER~ an option...

11. Its OK to say "NO". If I'm no good to Me~ I can't be good to You

12. Life is what YOU make of it. I'm making it GREAT! I accept nothing less than "GREATNESS".

13. Becoming a BOSS Blackcard Member, as I continue to Bring Out the Successful Sister in Me~I support & encourage other Successful Sisters.

14. DREAM bigger than I can ENVISION because nothing is too complicated for GOD to make a reality.

15. I'm not perfect "GOD" is still working on "Me" I acknowledge it and I'm open to change for a "BETTER ME".

16. Welcoming the Universe~Asking for what you want, Believe it shall come to path and don't dwell on it, let it go and sit back and listen closely for God's blessing.

17. Indulge in the simplest pleasures of life. LIVE life to the fullest, LOVE unconditionally, LAUGH until you need a glass of water.

18. I'm a unique individual who's completely not a carbon copy and I only follow God's footsteps and make no apologies for it.

19. Allowing circumstances to be as they are at this very moment and live in a way, that they'll be better tomorrow.

20. Nurture my mind, heart and soul daily understanding when to let go. There is a Season for everything & not all things are meant for a lifetime.

21. I'll take mine sunny side up~always look on the bright-side, think positively. What may be a no today, will be a yes tomorrow. I choose to stay in faith and place my cares & burdens in God's hands and not Man's hands.

22. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2 ME" Heavenly Father, thank you for your faithfulness in my life and favor for another day. I am honored and humbled for many things in my life and without your graciousness & love along with my families love & support I would not be who & where I am today. Each day is a constant blessing I'm truly grateful for. As I continue on my journey to "GREATNESS" I will continue to walk faithfully in your footsteps, asking for divine guidance through good & bad days knowing the good days make me "Great" and the bad days make me strive to be a "Better Me". Thank you in Jesus name Amen.
