LIFE LESSON IN TRUST...

Going about your day requires patience & grace. Patience that you won't encounter some knucklehead to ruffle your feathers. Grace that you know how to handle without re-acting if it should happen. Part of my daily prayer always includes asking God to continue guiding me in the right direction that is his will for me along with patience, grace and hope. I started to really think about that those words that have consistently been the recipe for my day-to-day. Now, I know the world isn't always peaches and cream. Although that would be super sweet if it was. So when the peach goes bad & the cream goes sour. Who Do You Turn To?

Your first instinct may be to call a good friend. Take a deep breath so you're thinking clearly and not re-acting to the situation at hand. You should be careful who you share your thoughts with especially when everything is a big blur. Taking a timeout to re-gain your thoughts will provide you some solitude in what to do next. Having a confidant you can turn to is great. Having someone who has your best interest at all times is priceless. I had a moment in time yesterday that I needed to take my own advice. Instead of leaping out to a friend I knew there was a better way to handle what I was feeling & the relief I needed. Something I tell myself daily is: Let No One Steal Your Joy.  But, we're human & although I try to live a stress free life thinking happy thoughts throughout the day. The mood does shift from time to time. Where Should I Turn? PRAYER... In my moment of praying for answers with the situation I was dealing with. I had an Aha Moment of "TRUST". Trusting in God, that the exact issue I was upset about was something I had been praying on consistently for the past month. Not recognizing it at the time, this is exactly what I ask God for. And finally he answered my prayer just on his timeline. Placing trust in God that he will provide you the answers when the time is right. The word trust came over me seven times over. Re-evaluating what had taken place by just breathing, centering myself to think logically. To then realize I hadn't applied the three words I always include in my prayers everyday and yes the first thing I wanted to do was call a girlfriend  just to vent. Life comes with challenges and what may be monumental to us is a piece of cake to God. Trust in him to navigate you through the bad traffic of life.

To my surprise when I called one friend she didn't answer. I started to call another, but was interrupted by a incoming call. The funny thing is I know God intervene at both times guiding me to seek him. My Aha Moment of this story is TRUST. Placing your trust in God & not man. Friends, Family, Associates & Relationships will disappoint you. God will never disappoint you, lead you down the wrong path or give you bad advice. In no way Am I saying friends give you bad advice, but at times you're seeking a conflict of interest advice. Trusting takes 100% commitment and no one has your back more than GOD. You may be in the middle of a life challenge now or face one in the future. How the recipe turns out depends on if you use the right ingredients. The recipe is TRUSTING in God. To do this calls for Guidance, Grace, Patience and Obedience in seeking God's will. Trust God and not Man to guide you through the perfect recipe. We all have minor hiccups in life its part of growing and becoming a better you. I'm back on my square and ready to get in the game called life. There's a reason for In God We Trust being placed on our currency. If you know the reason why, please share by commenting below or should you had an Aha Moment we love to hear your story.

drezrehersal Tip... Life Lesson I learned today is that it takes year's to gain trust and just a single moment to destroy it. Place your trust in God's hands for he will never forsake you or betray you by sharing what you bring to him in "TRUST".

GLAM'ONDAY ALERT...HOORAY FOR SUMMER

Time to Exhale and Let Go...Its SUMMERTIME!

HOORAY FOR SUMMER... Are you excited as I am about Summer? We're only into week one; although the weather hasn't been cooperating that shouldn't stop us from preparing for what we know will be a great summer season. Placing positive energy into the universe is definitely a start to what you desire for yourself. Place it into existence and it shall be. The next few months for me will consist of weddings, events, business functions, networking, continuing day-to-day business operations. And through it all I still must put time aside for me. Regardless of what is going on, always make time for self. You only have one life and as I always say you can't continue to be everything to everybody while not taking care of you first.

Summer should be a time of exhaling. Letting go of all the responsibilities months prior. As a child growing-up didn't you look forward to summertime? Why stop now as an adult? Close your eyes and let's experience the goodness of summer... Take a deep breath while I'll take you on a brief vacation to experience the goodness of summertime. Smell the fresh air, have a nice cold glass of lemonade, put your feet-up reading a good book, sitting out by the pool, placing your feet in the cool ocean, running along the beach with the wind  flowing through your hair, having a picnic at the park with someone special, or just taking a scenic drive. It's just that simple... "ENJOY LIFE".  ENJOY your surroundings, ENJOY the simple things, ENJOY family, ENJOY friends, ENJOY breathing tranquility, ENJOY time alone. If you're not enjoying life than there's no time like the present to make a change.

First Step: Make a list of what you desire to change and post it in a place you can see it clearly each & everyday. Second Step: Take Action...Viewing the list everyday makes you accountable for what you place in the universe. Third Step: Go for it... As you put changes into action, make sure to have positive people in your world along the way. Making a change just may be to eliminate those who really don't have your best interest at heart. I call them pity party monsters.

drezrehersal Tip... If you feel you're loosing yourself in day-to-day responsibilities. Just remember to live for today. For tomorrow will take care of itself. Keep this one word in mind when things get bumpy "ENJOY". Life will be more blissful if you keep this in mind. No one can create your happiness, but you. Live in the moment and just enjoy what god desires you to have. A life of abundance. Don't get discourage if you don't see immediate changes. Having faith is essential. Faith is confidence in that we  hope for and assurance about what we do not see. ~Hebrews 11.1 NIV

To recommendations to "ENJOY" this Summer.

GLAM ALERT...SUMMER $PECIAL$

Summer's here, that means its time to hit the beach or spring for a tropical vacation. If you're on a budget the best place to do your summer shopping is the Fashion Outlet's. Every major city has at least one. You just need to locate the stores that have the best deals. Saving funds on a summer wardrobe leaves you more for taking a weekend or 7 day vacation.  Below are 5 Must Have Summer Suggestions for you to consider.  The best place to get you started is the outlets. Here's an inside tip: Should you like a better deal, than sign-up for your chosen fashion outlet location VIP Club or Newsletter. This will provide you a heads-up on additional  discounts from your favorite brands and often freebies with purchase.

Hitting the outlets at least twice a year is a guarantee for my fashionistas and I.  My chosen outlet locations are the PREMIUM OUTLETS. A convenient location we often visit is the Camarillo Outlet located in Ventura County. The girls & I get an early start on a TGIF and head down the 101 freeway stopping for a nice breakfast along the way spending a couple of hours at the outlet, then continue down the coast to Santa Barbara for the remainder of the weekend & sometimes even an extended vacation. Santa Barbara will consist of spa treatments, more shopping and of course making a stop in Solvang. They have the absolute best restaurants for breakfast-Crepes that is. You can't visit Santa Barbara without visiting the vineyards for wine tasting.

5 Summer Must Have Suggestions: Whether you're staying local or traveling this summer? You'll definitely need the following items.

1. Beautiful, durable, chic affordable luggage on wheels with pulley.
2. A fabulous summer wardrobe that consist of day wear, afternoon wear, cocktail hour, evening festivities, sensible undergarments, sexy lingerie and no girls outfit is complete without a variety of shoes to select from.
3. At least two pair of sun glasses with UV protection, The perfect swimsuit, cover-up, beach towel, sunscreen, lip balm, good book-nook, Ipod, and camera.
4. Summer Satchel that's large enough to hold your glasses and all the essential items a fashionista needs.

DOONEY & BOURKE OUTLET EXCLUSIVE

June Sale offer valid from 06-01-11 to 06-30-11.
 5. A good attitude. Summer is a time for relaxation. Leave the Do Not Disturb sign on the door for anyone who wants to steal your joy.

* All the items above you can purchase at the outlets. Now you make the choice of purchasing at full retail price or 40%-70% less.  Remember summer is only a couple of months. You'll be putting the clothes away at the end of August. At least you should be.

I Remember Medrezrehersal Tip...In order to have a summer that exceeds all expectations try to let go, do something you normally wouldn't do or visit somewhere you've always wanted. Doesn't matter if its with a significant other, friend(s) or by yourself. Just let go. Leave all your cares & worries behind. It's perfectly fine once in awhile to say "I Remember Me".

drezrehersal Tip...6 Lifestyle Design Ideas For Your Wedding

drezrehersal Tip… A stunning way to add an identity to your ceremony & reception décor is to look at it as if it was your home. When planning for your wedding, think beyond the usual décor of floral centerpieces. Bring in added touches that will represent an experience & relaxing lifestyle for you & your guests.

Tip #2  Fresh florals are important for your wedding, but not necessary to place on every reception table. A stunning décor look is alternating centerpieces on reception tables. Have your florist place arrangements in other items besides glass vases. If you prefer vases, switch up sizes and styles, using translucent colors. Look into adding a colored floral piece around the vase, creating a completely different centerpiece. Other options are boxes. Small to large jewelry cases also work well. Lastly, a few battery-operated lamps placed on the table with fresh floral décor wrapped around the neck or the base of the lamp is floral fabulous at its best.

GLAM'ONDAY ALERT...WEEK #2 with SALLY HANSEN CRACKLE OVERCOAT POLISH

As promised it's week two & we're still testing out different color combinations with Sally Hansen new crackle nail polish. Last week I tested the crackle overcoat polish on my toes, so this week I'm feeling flirty & given attention to my nails. We'll I actually pampered myself last week, but you get to see the results this week.

How Does It Look?
Week #2 Tested w/ Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat
Fractured Foil underneath VIP PINK
Sally Hansen crackle overcoat polish was all the RAVE on Memorial Day. It took me a little time to get use too, until the compliments started rolling in. I quickly said to myself Sally Hansen may have something here. A glamnista is always prepared wherever she goes with an emergency style kit. I'll explain the details of an emergency style kit at a later date, now back to memorial day and the rave reviews. After family, friends, even future glamnista's (little girls) Ooh & Aah over the design, they all ASK where can we get the crackle polish? You're in luck I have some samples you all can try out. So we get a manicure-pedicure table going & went to town testing out colors. I must say it was pretty funny to see everyone argue over certain colors; hearing them say don't copy me. Hmmm where might have they heard that saying before? LOL.  The guys felt a little ignored that the ladies were all hovering over the mani-pedi table. Get a group of girls together where being glam is the topic, yes you loose our attention for a hour or two. Remember to check back next week for my week three design.  Remember we want to hear from you if you have purchased the crackle overcoat polish or had your manicurist apply for you. So, please leave your comments on the below link.

drezrehersal Tip...Keep it simple for the best results. For the future glaminista's (little girls) a precious mommy & me time is let your daughter have a variety of solid base coats on each nail, then placing a subtle Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat on top.

Until next time live FABULOUS...
